Awana
At Grace Bible Church we have had the Awana program now for decades. We have the Cubbies (3 to 5 year olds by September 1st), Sparks (kindergarten to 2nd grade), and Truth & Training (3rd to 5th grade). The Awana program is designed so that clubbers learn what the Bible says straight from the Bible itself and all scripture is from the NIV Bible throughout each of the clubs. Awana is equal parts learning, activities and games (and now crafts), and handbook time where they learn for them selves what the Bible has to say. While the COVID virus has caused us to change some of the policies and plans for the program currently we are glad to still be meeting. We will have the first day of club August 26th and it will be a full night with registration and regular activities. We hope to see your child there this year.
The Races
Float A Boat 2020
We have two big competitions each year for Sparks and Truth & Training, a Float-A-Boat race in the fall and the Awana Grand Prix in the spring. The clubbers make their own boats or cars from kits that they are given. There are two categories for them to compete in, speed and design with trophies for first, second and third place for each club each.
